Marshmallow update starts rolling out to Samsung Galaxy Tab A
Samsung has started rolling out the Marshmallow update to Galaxy Tab A
The update, which brings Android version 6.0.1 and bumps the build number to T550XXU1BPE1, is currently hitting the 9.7-inch Wi-Fi model (SM-T550) in France.
Aside from the usual Marshmallow goodies - including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and redesigned app permissions - it isn't yet known what else (if at all) the update brings along. It is currently only available via Samsung Smart Switch, although OTA roll out shouldn't be far off.
